Using Glytone Products

It is best to consult with your doctor before beginning any new skin care routine. Test the products on a small section of skin to ensure there is no allergic reaction before beginning widespread use of the products.
The Glytone Skin Rejuvenation System starts with a series of superficial chemical peels performed with different concentrations of "pure, non-neutralized glycolic acid," according to the company. The peels begin with a 30 percent concentration of glycolic acid, and are followed up with higher concentrations starting with 40 percent and going up to 70 percent. The solution for these peels is available in both pad and gel form. The peels remove old layers of skin and bring healthier layers to the surface.
Glycolic acid peels only are done in a doctor's office. The rest of the Glytone products can be used at home as part of a regular skin-care regimen.
The at-home skin-care process begins with mild cream wash or mild gel wash, depending on whether one's skin is dry or oily.
Both can be used in the morning and evening. Squeeze a little bit of wash or gel into your hand, mix with water, and then spread it on the face and neck. Then rinse the skin with warm water.
After the wash, the skin is ready to be cleansed and exfoliated. Add water to Glytone facial cleanser in your hands and massage it into lather. Then apply to the face, rinse completely, and dry the skin. Initially, use the cleanser once a day, and then work up to three times a day, or whatever your physician recommends. If the skin becomes too dry, reduce the frequency of cleansing.
Day cream is applied after cleansing. Glytone has Day Cream available for people with normal, dry or oily skin. The cream is applied once or twice daily. A Day Lotion also is available for people with sensitive skin.
Overnight Facial Fluid helps to exfoliate skin while you sleep. The fluid should be smoothed into the face and neck at night.
