Kinerase

Kinerase is a line of six skin-care products, both cosmetic and over the counter, for men and women manufactured by Valeant Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Kinerase products are designed for all skin types. Not only are they used to keep skin vibrant and healthy looking, but also the products have been shown to remedy some of the affects of sun-and age-related damage, smooth over uneven colored skin, and make brown spots and freckles less visible. Regular use can minimize lines and wrinkles in the skin, and provide valuable moisture to improve skin texture and firmness, according to the company. All of the products are for topical use only. Women also can apply makeup over the face products.

The creams often are recommended for people recovering from dermabrasion, chemical peels, or other procedures that have left the skin exposed and vulnerable. Different formulas of creams and lotions are available for people with normal or dry skin or oily and combination skin. Products also are available for people who live in warm or cool climates.

The products are hypoallergenic, so they are unlikely to cause allergic reactions, and designed not to clog skin pores. Most products are safe for use by women who are pregnant or nursing.

Kinerase items are made with natural ingredients, the primary one being N6-furfuryladenine, a synthetic plant growth material, also known as Kinetin. This material has been shown to slow the cell-aging process in plants.
